Armed with the Wii U GamePad, you can explore the sights and secrets of Gotham City in a whole new way. Navigate through the city using an enhanced interactive map and assemble a powerful team of heroes from your favourite DC Comics characters, all using the GamePad touch screen. You can also use Off-TV Play to experience the whole adventure TV-free!
Bruce Wayne has been honoured with the prestigious Man of the Year award, but he doesn’t get to enjoy it for very long before The Joker and Harley Quinn decide it would look much better on their mantelpiece. Luckily though, Batman and Robin have a trusty friend who’ll help their cause… Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s Superman! He’ll be joining in the action to defeat his own familiar foe, because Lex Luthor is teaming up with the Joker too. You’ll also see the likes of other DC superheroes such as Wonder Woman, The Flash, and Green Lantern come to their aid to save the city from those notorious criminals. With 50 DC Comics characters to collect, you’re sure to find one of your favourites in the minifigure mix!
Just like in LEGO CITY® Undercover on Wii U, full voice acting brings these minifigures to life. Fans of the series and newcomers alike will enjoy the quirky nature of the characters and chuckle at the light-hearted comedy that the LEGO games are known for.

While you’re at it make sure you check out each character’s own, unique special abilities and see what you find out. With guys like Superman around you’ll be able to enjoy free-roaming flight, as well as new abilities like Super-Breath and Heat Vision. Sure Superman is still vulnerable to Kryptonite, but Robin’s Hazard Suit enables him to walk through toxic material, and there’s plenty more to discover – including different suits that give your guys different powers. Get to know everyone’s talents and weaknesses if you want to use your characters well! Head down to the Batcave to create your own Custom Character or replay previously completed levels if there’s stuff left to collect.
Batman has his friends dropping by to give him a hand, so why shouldn’t yours? With drop-in/drop out co-op play, which is displayed on a dynamic split-screen, you can enjoy the LEGO world together with a mate or another member of your family! You can even have one player on the TV while the other uses the GamePad screen, so you can fight the bad guys without fighting over screen space!
